General information

The road viaduct over the Gurri river has 79m in length, with a distribution of spans of 12.17m + 3 x18.72m +10.67 . The static scheme is a continuous solid slab deck, 1m depth, fixed at piers and simply supported at abutments.

It is noteworthy that the viaduct is located in an area of moderate seismic activity, with basic soil acceleration a = 0.06g, this action has being decisive in the design of many elements of the substructure.

All foundations designed are footings. In the case of footings of P1 and P2 piers caissons must be run and filled with Cyclopean concrete in order to the achieved the bedrock.

The deck was designed to run on falsework supported on the ground in a single phase
